Sunn O))) & Scott Walker collaborate for new album due Sept 22nd

I was really excited to hear about this new collaboration between Sunn O))) and Scott Walker. I was late (or showing my age) to the Scott Walker party, missing "Tilt" and falling in love with his 13th album "The Drift" back in 2006, cranking it up at the end of the day in Virgin Megastore once the manager had left and playing it in the downstairs bar on my shifts at the local live venue.

The album has been entitled "Soused", containing 5 tracks totalling 50 min of music. Once again Scott has Peter Walsh involved with the production, and the album will be released on September 22nd in Europe (23rd for North America)

Sunn O))) had approached Scott about working on Monoliths & Dimensions (2009), something I would have loved to hear! But Scott declined, only to come back to them last year with new ideas he'd written with this collaboration in mind. The album will be available on CD, digital and Vinyl so bike down to your local record store and pre-order!
