So I was recently in Glasgow for work purposes and ended up with some time to kill before flying back to London, so off I wandered, under a glorious clear sky, across the city center...
It wasn't too long before a bike chained to a post with an advertising board directed me up the hill to a bike shop set in the basement under a rollerskate shop.
This is Rig bike shop, 141 West Regent Street, Glasgow, G2 2SG, catering mostly for the Fixed Gear, Track and Messenger orientated. Rig is friendly staffed with a tidy selection of both new and secondhand frames, components and merch to browse through and a great indie vibe. The store has been open for around 3 years, but if you're new to the area or just passing by you're unlikely to come across its location by a web search. But it's well worth a call in, have a good chat and pick up a store shirt!
